My phone has been shutting off and getting all crazy on me. I took it to that place on 149th and 3rd (BX ) so that they can save it. Yeah, the place that has that silly commercial on TV. So I learned something cool and wanted to share.
If you attempt to spin the battery and it spins, the battery is messed up and you need to get a new one. Try Spinning an old one and a new one. Pretty cool eh?

what kind of phone? is it a blackberry? a curve? it seems like they all do that on cue at about the 1 year mark. We all have them in my office. Just got a new one under warranty for the same problem: battery overheating, swelling, phone turning off whenever it wants. got an upgraded OS on it! So it was a WIN.
Yes blackberry , and you are right they swell up , and turn off so annoying. I need a software update on mine. I need to do it pronto !
