Question of the YEAR ... Listen to me YEAR!!!!!!

So I have to admit I have had an obsession with shiny puffer Jackets ever since H&M had one a few years back . I want to say two or three winters ago , but I am not completely sure.  I always wanted that jacket, but when you are a size 2 shit goes fast at H&M. So I never had the joy of owning one of those coats. 

Fast forward to the beginning of this fall while browsing through the net . I found one almost alike , but the shit was like $700 dollars and it was a  Moncler jacket. I told myself I would wait for it to go on sale . LOL stop laughing at me lol . I have been obsessed for a few months now. When I tell you obsessed , I mean Obsessed . I could spot one anywhere and I still check to see if the price is lower. Of course it's not. 

When I found out one of my closest friends was also into them , It was exciting to know that I was not alone in my circle. She was the first person I contacted when I spotted this young kid wearing one  in a Chicken Place. I am talking H.S. age here . I did ask him what kind of jacket he had. I felt as if I were standing there next to Michael Jackson in disbelief to the point that I would of asked Michael if it was really him. I was wondering how the fuck he got that coat . Ummmm HELLO , there is a recession taking place and if you are living on Gunhill Road you are definitely not making that Kanye West money. So where the fuck did he get it? OMG did he get it on sale ?????? Of course, I didn't ask. 

EVERY time I ride the subway there are always these young folks wearing them. It's just too good to be true. Do they mean to tell me that they are spending rent money on these coats? I still couldn't believe it. My homegirl sent me a link $130 made in china  !!!!!!!  My homegirl told me it was fake.I totally forgot people make fake shit . Like for real for real . I thought it was a good deal and the shit was on sale . 

SO THE QUESTION OF THE YEAR (DRUM ROLL PLEASE ) : are they really dishing out the dough or buying fakes? 

I went on my lunch break and spotted some girl with the same coat  but the label looked VERY different . It was smaller than the usual . I hit my friend up I even posted a status message on facebook. Someone hit me up telling me he can get me one for $100 made in China and yes it was fake because it wasn't made in France. He made a good point asking me why would I think the coats were real if people from the hood buy fake Prada shoes.  SIMPLE : I really didn't think people would wear fake prada shoes. WHOA WAIT A MINUTE (Side note) I HAVE AN IDEA: I wonder if my friend who lives in France can get me a real one cheaper. hmmmmm...  So how can you  tell the difference ? I asked the kid who gave me the $100 offer .  He Said "I think the cartoon on the inside, the zipper,n fabric, tags, quality, price, made in China/Hong Kong as opposed to France."  I will be investigating  .As a matter of fact I think I am going to Saks right after work to check the real ones out. Does anyone know where they sell the fake ones ?
