Introducing Levi's Curve I.D.

" a unique, customized fit system focusing on a woman’s shape and proportions, not her size. The three custom fits of the new line — Slight, Demi and Bold Curve — are based on the measurement between a woman’s hip and seat — the greater the difference, the more curvy the body."

How dope is this? Custom fit jeans for your shape only!  I know a lot of you ladies are probably about to run to the Levi's store for your own pair. Before you do, sit down to read how these jeans were created. In order for Levi's to create such a perfect pair of jeans, they invested their time in a large amount of research. They studied more than 60,000 body scans and listened to women from all over the world in all shapes and sizes. From this information, came the interesting facts :
  • More than half of women (54 %) try on at least 10 pairs of jeans to find one pair they would buy.
  • Most women (87%) wish they could find jeans that fit better than the ones they own.
  • Most women (67%) believe that jeans are designed for women with "ideal" figures.
  • Very few women (28%) believe that jeans are designed to fit their bodies.
There are three types of customs fits as seen above:

Slight- For straight figures. Slight Curve is designed to define a woman’s waist, while accentuating her curves. If jeans usually fit in the hips and thighs but are too tight in the waist, a woman should try the Slight Curve.

Demi- To fit even proportions. Demi Curve is designed to flatter a woman’s waist, while smoothing her shape. If jeans usually fit in the waist, but don’t flatter the figure, a woman should try the Demi Curve.
Bold Curve- designed to honor genuine curves.Bold Curve is designed to hug the waist, without gapping or pulling. If jeans usually fit in the hips and thighs, but gap in the back, a woman should try the Bold Curve.

You will be able to find these jeans  summer/fall 2010. This denim collection will be available in women sizes 22- 34 (0-16). There will be fit experts available at Levi stores. I'm excited ! Jeans that actually fit me. Yes, skinny bitches do have a hard time finding the perfect jeans as well.
