Dear Buzygurl

I just found this in my box. It's from a few weeks ago. Check back here to find out the reason he sent me this question.

Dear Buzygurl,
while i was hibernating from the cold, i came across your blog
so, educate me.
what would be the appropriate way to approach a fashionista, sitting in a booth, surrounded by friends?

(not really but let's keep it private ;o) )

Dear Anonymous,

Thanks for checking out my blog. I honestly can't tell you what the appropriate way is. Everyone is different . However, I can definately tell you where Mr. Show Off went wrong, so that you can stay clear of those actions.

1) He showed off to the wrong girls . It's obvious that he wanted to talk to one of us. At least. His actions were probably the equivalent of going fishing. He wears the gold (the worm on the rod) and we will immediately be attracted to him (the fish eats the worm) . Well at least that was what he thought. He tried it with the wrong girls. If that is what he wanted to achieve, he should have moved his way over to the attention whores that were across from us.

2) He stood around regardless of being ignored. If he was hanging around a group of people who were not trying to make a conversation with him, why did he not leave? Humans have intuition. When you have that feeling that people don't want you around, your instinct is to say " Fuck them" and move on. Instead of leaving he kept on trying to dance and rub his "it which shall not be named" on any girl who had her back turned. He did not even ask to dance! He figured that we were OK with it. ( YUK i could only imagine what a relationship with this guy would be like.) This caused us to make it REALLY obvious that we did not want to dance with him. Why did he not leave and look for someone else who would of enjoyed that. For example , the attention whores.

3) He knew we were the same girls that were ignoring him from the last party. Uh Hello .... why was he still around us.

4) He walked inside the booth in between people that were carrying a conversation with me to pull me out to dance and grabbed my hand. Wow. Dude was bold. He probably thought that because there were people around, that I was not going to shut him down. I did not care. I shut him down. He also should know better than to touch a woman's hand without her permission.

The point is that if a man wants to attract a certain kind of female , there is a certain way he must act. In this case, he wanted to attract the women who obviously carried themselves correct but failed because he only knew how to attract the attention whores. Had he been aware that not all girls are attention whores he might have had a different approach from the beginning.
