Had a blast at the Brisk Bodega event last night in Chelsea. Ran into all of my friends , it was like a reunion! My favorite piece was Artek's fear piece . This is one of the two photos I took at the event. Was having too much of a good time to take my camera out :o) .

Currently Reading: The Book of Secrets by Deepak Chopra

Picked up the Book of Secrets over the weekend when I was browsing through Barnes & Noble and it caught my eye. I have heard of Deepak Chopra, I follow him on Twitter, but I have not been interested in reading his books until that day. When the student is ready , the teacher appears right? It is hard for me to put down. The main focus of this book is to "help you live a life with meaning and shape your destiny." I have posted some quotes on Facebook for your reading pleasure.

Beauty Review: ORIGINS Check and balance Facewash

I only used the Origins check and balance face wash twice before finding out one of the ingredients is hydrolyzed wheat protein. I recently had an allergic reaction to the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara which contains wheat oil. I am now obsessed with looking at ingredients of anything I put on my skin. I did not get any allergic reaction from the face wash but it's better to be safe than sorry. I vouch for this product. It left my face feeling really clean and soft the two times I used it. It is best recommended for combination skin.
