Beats and Brands is back ! It's an annual event hosted by Nina Sky , Alizé open bar, Music by Nicole of Nina Sky and DJ June. Featuring these brands: MadeMe, Legendary Damon , Cubannie Links, Funky Fannys , Kweenz Destroy, Young Broke and Famous, Miss Amy's Baby Cakes and of course Endless Noise NYC !

My Friends and I are hosting a Holiday Party for all of our friends. Feel free to come through! There is a 2 for 1 drink special from 11pm - Midnight.

BANJEE

There is a new Monday party that is about to launch uptown hosted by one of my cool friends, Francis .  The Party is to be called "Banjee". You have to check out the video to see why. The reason Francis decided to start this weekly event at Apt 78 , was he wanted to set an environment where EVERYONE can come together and have a great time, regardless of sexual orientation. This party is to encourage everyone to come together and break that sense of segregation where Gays feel as if they need to go to a Gay club or bar to feel comfortable. They want their Gay night to be about a celebration for ALL. The party will take place every Monday from 9pm - 2am at Apt 78 lounge (4447 Broadway New York, NY 10040)

Ladies Love Project Recap

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of taking part of  The Ladies Love Project Pop Up Shop hosted by Patty Dukes and Too Fly. The event was amazing ! The ladies really did a great job ! I was in shock (in a good way) at the amount of people coming up to my booth already knowing about my brand, excited to see the pieces and to meet me in person. I finally have the chance to upload some pics from a few weeks ago. The MadeMe X Vans collab event was so much fun. A maze, photo booth, free drinks , performances and a whole lot of candy. I attended the Nolcha Fashion week event yesterday. A friend of a friend,  Carlos was showcasing his fly shoe collection Bessi made up of women's shoes and men's sneakers. Check out the pics below. Oh and by the way, Bessi Shoes were voted as one of the top 7 ( along with Christian Louboutin )  by Zink Magazine. 

Fashion's Night Out 2010

This year I spent Fashion's Night Out in Soho. It was a different experience than hanging out in the meat packing district last year. I do not know if it was the location or the fact that more people knew about it this year but it was overwhelming with too many people in the way. I was able to hit up the Diesel , AX , WINK and Hugo Boss stores. After that it went down hill. People or shall I say kids were starting fights on the streets and etc. I was so disappointed. There are always ignorant people that have to ruin the wonderful blessings that this beautiful city of ours has to offer. Besides the ignorance , I had a blast with my friends. "I Love my boobies" recap

This weekend I attended the "I love my Boobies" event at Cammaradas in Spanish Harlem.  The event turned out to be a success. I was very touched by the testimonials read at the event. One of the testimonials read by the daughter of a survivor mentioned the word "miracle". I have been hearing this word like crazy for the past few weeks. In fact , I did experience a miracle last week. I know that things do happen for a reason, but I have never experienced a miracle. That feeling was unforgettable. Miracles do happen when you least expect them to . You just have to let things be and let the universe work it's magic. It's hard to do at times especially when going through a difficult time but all you have to do is TRUST and everything will be alright .
