From the Daily Love
"Be easy about it. Don't rush into things. Savor them more. Make more plans and be more deliberate and specific about the plans you are making, and in all you do, let your dominant intent be to find that which pleasures you as you imagine it. Let your desire for pleasure and your desire for feeling good be your only guiding light. As you seek those thoughts that feel good, you will always be in vibrational harmony with the Energy that is your Source. And under those conditions, only good can come to you -- and only good can come from you."

From the Daily Love ...
"Everything you take for granted is a blessing. Everything you fear is a friend in disguise. Everything you want is a part of you. Everything you hate you hate about yourself. Everything you own does not define you. Everything you feel is the only Truth there is to know.
Everything you wish for is already on its way to you. Everything you think creates your life. Everything you seek for you will find. Everything you resist will stick around. Everything you let go of stays if it's supposed to. Everything you need is right where you are.
Every time you bless another your bless yourself. Every time you blame another you lose your power. Every time you think you can, you can. Every time you fall you must get up and try again. Every time you cry you're one tear closer to joy. Every time you ask for forgiveness, all you have to do is forgive yourself.
Everyone you see is your reflection. Everyone you know mirrors you. Everyone wants to be happy. Everyone wants to live in joy. Everyone seeks a higher purpose. Everyone breathes the same breath. Everyone needs love to survive. Everyone has a purpose to fulfill.
Everyone's the same as everyone else. We just get caught up in labels, names, skin color and religion. Everyone's the same as everyone else. No one wants to feel the pain. Everyone's the same as everyone else. Everyone is dying for love to remain."

Obsession: Furniture
I have been obsessed with trying to figure out who designed my childhood furniture. After seeing this Album Cover on my friends blog during my search I ran into these beautiful pieces. For those who don’t know, Interior design is another one of my obsessions. I was going to minor in Interior design in college but that was too much to handle, and besides I already had a natural eye for it. I took one basic class and that was all I needed. There is something about surround your home with eye catching pieces that makes it even more personal.

The Social Network
I finally went to see The Social Network , and I went alone. Yes, went to the movies alone for the first time. I was very impressed with myself. The whole time I have been waiting for my current "ex-movie buddy" to come see it with me but kept getting flaked on. I had to remind myself that I came into this world alone , and that if I really want to do something , I shouldn't have to wait for anyone. I do not always wait for someone , but there are times when I just do not want to do something alone, like for example go to a nice dinner. I spend a lot of time by myself these days, I don't understand why it never occurred to me to just go. It took me to get really pissed off to act on it.

The year was 1939 ...
It's on my Macbook, and all over the stores. I could not help but wonder what the story was behind it.
"Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, to raise the morale of the British public in the case of invasion. It was little known and never used. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products." READ MORE HERE !

When things go wrong
By Anon
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

From the Daily Love ...
"Love and appreciation are identical vibrations. Appreciation is the vibration of alignment with who-you-are. Appreciation is the absence of everything that feels bad and the presence of everything that feels good. When you focus upon what you want - ;when you tell the story of how you want your life to be - you will come closer and closer to the vicinity of appreciation, and when you reach it, it will pull you toward all things that you consider to be good in a very powerful way."

From the Daily Love ...
Every day I am grateful that when it comes to working , I don't settle for less. I don't take jobs just to have a paycheck , I only accept those that I know will have my heart. I was just speaking to my girls 1st thing this morning about this because I felt that they had to hear it. Then I opened up THE DAILY LOVE email of today and it was totally on point with the moment. I swear these emails are also a blessing because Mastin always seems to send out the right ones at the right time. ( go subscribe ! ) Just when I think I can't anymore, they give me that extra push telling me "bitch don't look back now, keep it moving , you are getting closer and closer " in a way. It's perfect for my "boot camp". I am participating in my own little "boot camp" where I am going to turn all my negativity into positivity, I will learn to be grateful for all my blessings, and most importantly to learn how to love myself unconditionally. This will allow all the bad stuff out and all the good things in that I know are meant for me. Before I post today's Daily Love message I just want to tell you to TRUST and KNOW and dont FEAR and DOUBT.
Mastin Says:
Mastin Says:
Life ends not when you die, but when you stop believing in your true calling. Your true calling isn't something your friends, parents or lovers want you to become. Your true calling isn't living vicariously through someone else. And most certainly your true calling isn't working just to "make a living" and "get by".

Some weekend inspiration:
When you find the way
Others will find you.
Passing by on the road
They will be drawn to your door.
The way that cannot be heard
Will be echoed in your voice.
The way that cannot be seen
Will be reflected in your eyes.

Awakened...
Last week which happened to be the last week of the year was the worse for me. I was so out of character, so cranky. Might have been the Lunar effect, or maybe it was the feeling of being stuck again. :shoulder shrug: Whatever it was calmed down as soon as I finished reading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. When I first started reading this book, it did state that it is in fact a life changing book. I expected to be changed a little but not as much as I have changed now.In A New Earth, Tolle speaks about how the ego takes over the human mind causing dysfunction leading to things like anger, jealousy and unhappiness. Tolle also speaks about how to live in the NOW, not the past and future. The purpose of this book is to awaken you to figure out your life's purpose and become a more happier person. If you pick up A New Earth one day and do not find it interesting enough for your attention, then you are just not ready to become awakened. I on the other hand have been ready. I have woken up several times and told myself that something has got to change. I was tired of negative energy constantly being around me and not allowing me to be me. That is the first step of awakening; to be conscience of the negativity in your life.
Though the book has many touching moments throughout it, the last chapter of the book is what touched me the most it made me realize that "This, too, will pass." and it REALLY made me believe that things do happen the way they do for a reason.
Here is one from the many lessons in this book:

Here is one from the many lessons in this book:
Three ways to align your life with the creative power of the universe:
- Acceptance- For now this is what the situation is, this moment, requires me to do and so I do it willingly.
- Enjoyment - When you make the present moment , instead of past and future, the focal point of your life, your ability to enjoy what you do and with it the quality of your life- increases dramatically.
- Enthusiasm - deep enjoyment in what you do plus the added element of a goal or a vision that you work toward.

Quote of the Day
Courtesy of the Daily Love:
"Don't listen to those who say, 'You're taking too big a chance.' Michelangelo would have painted the Sistine floor, and it would surely be rubbed out by today. Most important, don't listen when the little voice of fear inside you rears its ugly head and says. 'They're all smarter than you out there. They're more talented, they're taller, blonder, prettier, luckier, and they have connections. I firmly believe that if you follow a path that interests you, not to the exclusion of love, sensitivity, and cooperation with others, but with the strength of conviction that you can move others by your own efforts, and do not make success or failure the criteria by which you live, the chances are you'll be a person worthy of your own respects."

The Process of Love
Courtesy of the Daily Love .
Love is a funny thing you know. I don't know about you, but I am a hopeless romantic and I truly believe that Love is the most powerful energy in this Uni-verse. But Love, being a mystical energy, is a playful friend and a diligent teacher. Contrary to what our Egos think, Love has it's own agenda. What is Love's motive you ask? To me, Love is the energy that guides us to our happiness, our co-manager of this existence we call Life. And sometimes, the greatest act of Love comes from not getting what you THINK you want. And sometimes it means learning how to let go. And sometimes, it means winning and obtaining your Heart's desire.
But I think, where we humans get caught up, is that (speaking for myself), we are not always tapped into a Universal timetable. We are primarily a culture of instant gratification. I am convinced I have been put on this Earth to learn Patience this Lifetime.
And what I'm learning is that everything we do is a creative process. Our work, our play, our relationships, our Loving, our learning, our doing and being are all each a creative process. And just like any creative process, each process has it's own agenda and lessons built into it to teach us.
Using nature as a prime example of this insight, consider any seed. When a seed is planted in proper soil, with proper nutrients and conditions, the seed grows. And none of us would be so silly to plant a seed, and then an hour or day later dig up the seed and wonder why it hasn't ripened and born it fruit.
If we can learn to see our lives as a creative process of unfoldment, I think we could better understand our lives.
The best relationships, business and works of art have required time to incubate. Finding an epic lover means you are signing up for a deep process of getting to know the other person, that kind of thing doesn't happen over night. Building a massively successful business, creating a masterpiece of art, all of this takes time and patience.
I know there is a great lover, an amazing artist, a beautiful body and an ambitious entrepreneur inside of you dying to be born. Have your goals, keep them in mind and stay in inspiring situations to give you the energy you need to keep moving, but, if you can truly befriend the process of creation and get comfortable with taking little steps that add up to truly long distances, you are surely walking the path of mastery.
The seed of Love is planted in everything that you do, enjoy the process, let miracles happen and trust that your visions are real. And know that with every dream come the required lessons to become a master and pull them down. It's a blessing, this process, love it!

Quote of the Day
Courtesy of The Daily Love:
"It's simple. Life is messy. Your dreams are real. Only you have to believe it. Excuses are non. You're always taken care of. Your thoughts create your life. What's happening to others has nothing to do with you. The future is not the past. Fear is an illusion. True love comes from within. The time is now. What are you waiting for?"
