Buzy Gurl Diaries ...

Happy late Easter ya'll. I must say this weekend has had it's ups and downs, but that is life, right ? Friday I was feeling very creative and headed out to the fashion district to get more supplies for Endless Noise. I must say I have been making progress with this line. I would have never thought that in 2009, I would have people going crazy for pieces created by me. Life just keeps taking unexpected turns and I appreciate them all , good or bad because it makes me who I am and takes me where I want to be.
It's amazing to walk around the city doing something I am passionate about. It makes the days seem brighter even when they are gloomy such as it was on Friday. I walked around the Fashion district with no worries, just letting my creativity lead the way. I purchased some really great stuff and got right back into the subway. I heard salsa music and had to stop to record :

I got home and got right to work . Here is the magnificent piece created on Friday night:
Awesome right? I wore it out the same night and the response was great. Saturday was another chill day, I worked on fulfilling orders all day and then headed out to Jersey with Girlz Talk for their performance.

Today I woke up extremely tired but I was happy to see my family especially a couple of little ones that I have not seen in about two months. It's tough to keep up with everyone when you are trying to reach for the stars, but you always have to remember that family comes first and you should take the time out to spend with them.

Fix your face honey!

One thing I do not find cute is when a girl has this mean look on her face at all times . I was on the train and could not help to stare at this girl who could be pretty if only she would fix her face. I don't mean surgery. What I mean is that they need to wipe that "I'm disgusted at all times, my shit don't stink , what are you wearing , I look better, I am better " look. WHO the hell are they kidding . We are not stupid. They can't cover their "I have low self esteem and I am miserable so I have to keep my face like this to make people think that I am the shit" look. Do you people get what I am saying ? Do you know the type of girls I am talking about ?
Like these girls are the same girls who want to be in other people's business because their life isn't going to well. Maybe if they would smile more often life would be a bit sweeter for them.

A NYC Moment ... Journey from BK

So two of us went to visit my home girl in BK on Friday night . Going was not so bad since I was coming in from Manhattan. Going back to the BX was a different story. When you are from the BX, Brooklyn can sometimes feel like a world away and vice versa . Like I did not even know there was a G train! Ummmm... Don't Laugh, I just can't sit on the train for so long so I don't go to Brooklyn much.
We first got on the A train , and still sat down , despite the fact that it felt a little sketchy. I sit next to this guy dressed in red . The dude starts throwing up gang signs to some guy dressed in navy blue on the other side of the cart . I was taken back to the days of high school when we were not allowed to wear red or blue and were often let out early especially on Halloween . I must have been staring hard . I don't usually stare because I see everything and nothing phases me. This shit right here... had me scared lol. So the guy in red starts speaking to me. I did not put my ussual "Dont fuck with me " face and ignore him. I was scared that would have triggered something. So I told him I was Egyptian after he asked me where I was from. Then the red dude and the blue dude switched places . The Blue dude was now sitting next t me . He said "So he tells me you are from somewhere. Where are you from again?"

"EEEEEEGYYYYPTTTT" I said , Even though I was still scared it was obvious that these guys were stupid. I can't stand stupid guys.

"Oh where is that ?" UGH yes he did ask me this.

Thank goodness my home girl was smart enough to start a conversation with me and that we were on the same page.

"This dude lives at the next stop. Do you want to crash at his house ? It will be easier to go to this girl's house in the morning time instead of waking up extremely early."

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan, let's crash at this dudes house."

We got off the train and stood by the police precient the whole time while we waited for the next train.
