Things are poppin' off . Definitely feel like two weeks from now ... things won't be the same (in a good way) .

Dear Diary:

A couple of nights ago I was at work speaking to one of my co-workers. She was telling me about The Secret . She had just finished watching the movie and felt like her life was changing already. The next morning as I was searching for a book to buy my dad the first thing that popped under the search was The Secret. I did a little research. I ordered the movie through Netflix and dragged my family to Barnes and Nobles with me before Father's day dinner. I started reading it as soon as I got into the car and started applying some of "the secret" to my life right away. One thing I decided to do was to not sympathize or agree with complaints. The truth is that The more complaining you do and the more you surround yourself with people who complain, you will attract more things to complain about. I really feel great and a lot of good has been coming my way. Here is a 20 minute clip from The Secret:

Just now I started reading my 2009 horoscope book which I used to read every morning. I need to get back into that habit. My horoscope for last Friday reads:

Motivated and Inspired

All these rainy and cloudy days have put me in a rut. Once again I was feeling stuck and uninspired. The sun came out a little last Friday afternoon . All of a sudden all these ideas were flowing through my mind . I have been busy trying to turn these ideas into reality. It's a lot of hard work but when you want something, no work is too hard and everything else can wait . I am having so much fun with all my projects these days it's like I don't need anything else to make me happy right now. Work , work , and work is on my mind .

Phew...

So I had a very productive day today besides being sick (I hope it's not swine). I woke up early and decided to work on the Endless Noise Website. Yes, I did it all on my own. I am just the type of girl the likes things my way and I hate the whole back and forth process of making sure that something comes out exactly the way I want it. I was ready for the change today, and change was made today. I even changed the look of this blog. What do you think? I still have LOTS to do for Endless Noise. and lots to do for Buzygurl. But no biggie, things will happen as they are supposed to happen.

I am looking to make this blog more interesting . I would like to hear suggestions. What am I doing right ? What am I doing wrong? We are entering the 6th month of the year and I want to make sure that at least half of my goals for 2009 are in place. So yeah , tell me how I am doing . Anonymous comments are allowed.

It took almost an hour

but I figured out what I am wearing ... at least for the next three days. I love these BCBG shoes, I was trying hard to add them into one of my outfits but the truth is : They Hurt Like A MOFO! So there goes these shoes up on my bookcase for display along with the other shoes that look nice but don't feel too good. Anywho... Wish it was chilly enough to wear the jacket though.

YIKES !

My closet is pretty chaotic, It's fashion week and I don't know what to wear! Duh , I know fashion week started last Friday. I've just been laying low , the rain and everything else just made me hermit for a couple of days that's all. I am finally ready to just hit the shows and parties ... well not really . I have to decide what it is that I am going to wear first. Hmmmm .... I wonder what the weather is going to be like.

I cant help it...

It is such a beautiful day... I don't just mean the weather, I mean everything . Makes me want to sing Everything is Just Wonderful by Lilly Allen at the top of my lungs. OK I am overreacting ha ha. I feel great. Everything feels great. I even got an extra nugget in my ten piece !

Shame on me ...

I've been feeling so lazy lately. Like I just don't want to do much. Does not help much that I have a freakin' cold and I am sneezing and blowing my nose every five minutes. So Wack! So ...what have I been up to you ask? Well where do I start? OK,I am going to start with the wack ass posts I have been putting up. If that does not say lazy... I don't know what does. I have not been writing at all , I have just been posting random things up. I need to reevaluate this blog and head in one direction. This blog reflects my life and the truth is that my life is a mess , but not in a bad way. I am just a girl that is up for anything , well, let me rephrase that ... almost anything. Most of the time I do not know in what direction to take my life and end up trying different things here and there, just to see what works for me.
I have actually been writing my book. I started it last year , caught writer's block in December and FINALLY got out of it and continued to write sometime last week. I can't wait to finish it and have someone read it. My friends have been telling me to write this book for years. Besides writing I have not been doing much but working and hanging out. Now that the summer is over , I have to get back on my grind. Hopefully I will come out of this lazy stage soon.

What I did with my second to last summer Friday

I was determined to go to Ikea it was either this yesterday or never. I am a very impatient person. When I want something , I want it now. Don't mistake me for a brat. It's just that I like getting things done. Well , important things . This time getting one side of my room to a more organized state was my priority . My car broke down and my dad didn't want to lend me his or take me. Forget asking other people , people are quick to ask me for a ride somewhere but are never available when I need them.. any who, that is a different story . I came into this world alone , and if I must , I get thing done by my damn self.
I signed up for ZIP CAR which usually takes about 1 to 3 business days to get approved. I lucked out , I was approved , and went to pick up my Zip card . I booked a car, went to pick it up, and was on my way to Ikea in Brooklyn wit my sis . Ate some food, got a desk a chair, a mirror, and a curtain rod in less then an hour ( I can't do Ikea for too long).
At home I built my desk and my chair. Here I am writing from my desk and not from the dining room table, the living room sofa or my bed. I did fail to mention that I hurt my foot trying to open one of the boxes last night. I have been sitting here all day writing blog entries and catching up on missed TV episodes instead of laying at the beach. Hopefully I will feel better by tonight and get to being social again.

July 2nd 2008...

I was desperate to leave work so that I could rush home and get things done ... things like putting away my four loads of clean laundry that was done two days ago and to finish up cleaning my room. I wish I had time to do that deep cleaning shit where you clean every little corner , ever little spot squeaky clean , but unfortunately I never have time. Hmmmm I do have a day off on Friday ... great, So I will just aim to wake up early, bust shit out in a few hours and WALLLLLLA I'll be off to my BBQ's. Now back to my story... on my way to the 4 train on 14th I decided to stop by H&M and forever 21 and pick up a few things . I finally got the jumper of my dreams and I finally fit an H&M size 4! PHEW that took about a couple of years.

I finally head home like around 9, I had to take a second to stop and appreciate the wonderful nighttime weather we had today. I get home and the news of the day was that Sabrina ( the younger sibling) found a dog on the highway and decided to bring it home. At that moment she was walking both dogs . ( yes we already have one) . I was in disbelief until I finally saw the dog that we have named Pancho, Pablo, Tobi, Pepito... so skinny but yet toooo cute ! The thought of having two dogs in the house led Annie (the middle child) and I to post a lost and found ad on craigslist, while ignoring the young one's cries (shes 19). Of course my ass fell in love with the dog and spent the rest of the night playing with him .

At 1am I decided to start putting my clothes away (one thing scratched off the list of things to do) I am now laying in bed reflecting on the day and excited about ELSITA'S WEDDING tomorrow .... GEEEZ I hope I have time to get my nails and hair done after work !
