Trunkshow Tuesday : October 18th

I am super excited to announce the launch of my monthly event at Dyckman Bar ! Every Third Tuesday of each month I will be featuring a different designer so that my guests can meet the designer, view and shop the merchandise, listen to good music, sip on some yummy cocktails, and most importantly network . I love bringing people together, because it always leads to something positive! This is a huge deal for me because it's an idea that has been on my mind for a long time and I am finally putting it into action. I would love your support !

This month I am featuring Nostylgia. Since 2004, Nostylgia : "The New American Classic" created by 29 year -old founder/designer Jason Devereaux has been growing as a leading producer, purveyor, and promoter of the finest classically designed, heritage inspired, and hand crafted menswear in New York City. Their lifestyle enthused apparel brand and flagship clothing boutique is based in the heart of Manhattan's pristine Inwood neighborhood and has a long standing die-hard following. With a background in marketing from NYU's Stern Business School coupled with a profound appreciation for the ethos of the past Nostylgia has been shaped by Devereaux's mission to preserve consumers' original ideals of quality craftmanship, value and timeless style in the world of American fashion . All designs are based on decades of utilitarian dress and the needs of a diverse American culture throughout history. Nostylgia's flagship, which has been written about in the New York Times, also features the full service in-house "Inwood Tea bar & Chess Loune", connecting fashion to a sense of healthy body, mond and community, with a sweeping blast from the past aesthetic.

Endless Noise Clutch of the Week

Its TUESDAY! That means there is a new clutch for this week. My inspiration for this one came from a lot of sources. Houndstooth is everywhere this season. Not only is it one of my favorite prints , but it reminds me of mom's outfits  back in the day, she loved herself some Houndstooth. Another big trend right now is HUGE clutches. The kind you can fit everything in them and also wear during the day. This Clutch measures 13 1/2"x9". You can purchase this clutch until next Monday at this LINK.

RIP Steve Jobs

Because of you , learning to read and spell was made fun in grade school, Reading Rabbit for Macintosh was my favorite game to play during computer class. In H.S. when I was introduced to PC's, I still stood loyal to Macintosh at home. I found PC's to be so blah, everything about the Macintosh was just colorful and fun. In college my ibook made me feel chic in every way. It went perfect with my dorm decor and it just looked great sitting on a table at the library as I typed endless amounts of papers while on ichat. My itunes and ipod  helped me dance my way through college. After college my itouch made train rides to work go by faster. Now through my Macbook I blog and let the world wide web know about myself and my jewelry line. Thank you Steve Jobs.

Hazy Nights in the Heights

I am super excited to hear the final product of this project that Frankie P has been working so hard on . The teaser itself placed me in a quick state of calmness and euphoria because of the beats. I have no doubt that this is going to be playing on my ipod over and over again as I get creative.  Learn more about Frankie P by clicking this LINK and listening to this interview with Andrea Castillo right below.
