The Drone Bracelet (a wrap around bracelet) has become one of my top selling pieces. It may be because it makes such a statement when worn alone or layered. I am currently into black jewelry and decided to start off the introduction with the Drone bracelet that calls for a CELEBRATION! You can get yours now at 25% off until next Friday (29th).  It is available in four colors ; Matte gold, gold,  silver and black. Get yours before I sell out!

Obsession: Furniture

I have been obsessed with trying to figure out who designed my childhood furniture. After seeing this Album Cover on my friends blog during my search I ran into these beautiful pieces. For those who don’t know, Interior design is another one of my obsessions. I was going to minor in Interior design in college but that was too much to handle, and besides I already had a natural eye for it. I took one basic class and that was all I needed. There is something about surround your home with eye catching pieces that makes it even more personal.

Wonder Woman 2010

Rumor has it that a Wonder Woman TV show is in the works with a very modern twist which includes dope accessories and new outfits . It’s about time !

Nina Sky : You Aint Got It

Been meaning to post this awesome video up from the girls of Nina Sky.  1st of all let me say how this is my type of song.  It screams Girl Power which I am all about! It's a reminder that you can't pay attention to just anyone . You have to be picky as hell before you get caught up with the wrong person. The vibe of this video goes hand in hand with the vibe of the song . It was produced by DJ YONNY. Speaking about DJ YONNY, check out his remix to "Only Girl".

Music Thursdays: Jay-Z

It's Friday but bare with me :o) . Here are 4 Jay-z videos to enjoy. So hard to pick , I love them all !

Black Dating in Hip Hop Society

My boy just BBM'd me this video , it was funny as hell but it really made me think about dating in general. The video displays a "good man" seeking to attain the "gold digging woman". He mentions how she does not know what a good man looks like .  She want's a "baller" no matter how negative the life he leads. Fine, there are women out there like her,  but those are the women that some men go after. Those are the women in the music videos.  You don't see them going after the "Good Woman". They prefer those women that do go after the "ballers", athletes and music artists. When they are not ballers, athletes and music artists themselves and know that there is no chance in hell with that woman,   they decide they want to work their way up-to eventually become a "baller" and attract those kinds of women, even if it means "balling" with no money in the bank. They don't do it for themselves,  they do it to impress the women who didn't want them in the first place. Look at Mark Zuckerberg and where that led him.   Again , I am not speaking about all men or women.

The Social Network

I finally went to see The Social Network , and I went alone. Yes, went to the movies alone for the first time. I was very impressed with myself. The whole time I have been waiting for my current "ex-movie buddy" to come see it with me but kept getting flaked on. I had to remind myself that I came into this world alone , and that if I really want to do something , I shouldn't have to wait for anyone. I do not always wait for someone , but there are times when I just do not want to do something alone, like for example go to a nice dinner. I spend a lot of time by myself these days, I don't understand why it never occurred to me to just go. It took me to get really pissed off to act on it.

Willow Smith - Whip My Hair

I am loving the small touch of bedazzling on her lip. Dont judge me if you see me with some left over swarovski's on mine ;o) .

Music Thursdays: MYA

I know it's Monday , but I was not able to blog on Thursday, therefore you will get two "Thursdays" this week :o) . I picked these songs by MYA because it's how I have been feeling and if you know me well, I express myself through music. Of course not my own music, but music by others that I can relate to. MYA could not be any more on point with these songs and her choreography makes me want to get up and impersonate her moves. I am pretty sure that the majority of you ladies agree with me. Enjoy more videos after the jump.

The year was 1939 ...

It's on my Macbook, and all over the stores. I could not help but wonder what the story was behind it.
"Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, to raise the morale of the British public in the case of invasion. It was little known and never used. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products." READ MORE HERE

How J.K Rowling Organized Her Writing

For those of you interested in knowing   how J.K. Rowling was able to write the collection of Harry Potter books, check out this article on Unclutterer .

To Be or Not To Be ...

No matter how seductive a person, place or opportunity seems - do not move forward unless your intuition says "yes".

We wonder sometimes why things don't work out, yet if we look back on situations that ended badly we see that we knew better from the first moment we started down this path.

No matter how beautiful a person is. No matter how much money may be offered to you. No matter what, if you do not listen to you intuition and choose to follow a path of external power your life will not manifest to it's highest potential.

Before you make a decision about dating someone, moving forward with a business deal or making any changes in your life get still and ask your intuition if it feels right. If the answer is yes your whole body will light up and you will feel the "yes" inside you. If the answer is "no" you will feel disempowered with the thought of making the decision.

Get quiet and listen and life will eventually begin to flow.

There is something about a nutcracker doll that attracts me to it. I spotted a whole bunch of them at Target last Friday. I think it's the fact that they each have their own style. I would definately love to have a collection of nutcrackers one day.

These Sigerson Morrison's have been my favorite flats since 2005. Yeah a pretty damn long time. They are just starting to be uncomfortable. I refuse to throw them away though, they'll be sitting in my closet until I can really depart from them. I promise I am not a hoarder , I just hate getting rid of my good pieces !

Erase Me - Kid Cudi

“I keep on running , keep on running
and nothing works
I can’t get away from you, nooooo
I keep on ducking , keep on ducking
and nothing helps
I can’t stop missing you, yeaaaaah”
What’s the best way to stop missing someone?

I've been a fan since " SIn gorito no hay cumpleƱo..." I don't remember if I have ever seen Omega, also known as "El Fuelte"  perform , probably so since I do have the bad habit  of forgetting those things no matter how good of a show they put on. Any who , after waiting a few years , he was finally able to come back into the US of A to perform. I'm still confused on wether he has his performance visa or not . Does anyone know the real deal? Rumor has it that he's here on a "religious mission" visa and is not allowed to perform. I was kind of disappointed at the cover charges, it was empty and it was held inside the Armory in Washington heights. He could of performed at United Palace in that case. Besides the obvious, the show was amazing. I still can not believe his outfit , low crotch pants with B-dazzled army boots. LOVED IT! *shout out to my boy for hooking me up with a last minute ticket ;o)

Women Making Stacks

Facts according to The Washington Post:
Nationwide, about 1 in 18 women working full time earned $100,000 or more in 2009 (1 in 7 men made that much)
Washington women have the highest median pay among full time working women, almost $54,000 compared with the national median of nearly $37,000
Women now outnumber men at almost every level of higher education. (3 women in college and graduate school for every two men)
Only 3 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs are women
The full time workforce remains predominantly male, with 56 million men and 42 million women. (about 2.4 million women and 7.9 million men earn more than $100,00)
Unmarried women in their 20’s who are childless and work in cities have caught up with or are ahead of young men living in all but a handful of the nation’s largest metropolitan regions.
Women make up more than 4 out of 10 of the federal government civilian employees who rank high enough to earn $100,000 or more

I do not like insects. They freak me out. However, this little fella' touched a soft spot while I was sitting and enjoying the sunshine at Bryant Park a couple of weeks ago.

The next step for me ...

Social media has been an important part of my personal life and business, as it has been to a lot of you for a couple of years. With out it, many of you still would not know what Endless Noise NYC is, what's the next "cool" thing out in the market or the latest breaking news. Being that I have gained a good amount of experience managing my own social media, I have received request here and there from close family and friends to help them out with their social media management. I am no social media Guru, in fact no one is one yet, due to the short amount of time it has been around, but I have done plenty of research and have taught myself enough to get by and more. I am always full of different marketing ideas and I am amazed by the impact social media has on the consumer. Also, lets not forget the fact that I want to be able to work from wherever, whenever, just like I do with my jewelry business.

From the Daily Love ...

When things go wrong
By Anon

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Shakira - Loca

I can't believe that she's the voice behind this song that I have been hearing all over Washington heights ! Kind of Surprising .
